I think I made an official Super Bowl commercial?

Mom, put this one on the fridge!

Last week, I was in anguish.

I was talking with Peter Csathy, our entertainment lawyer on his podcast, questioning whether or not we made a mistake turning down a Super Bowl commercial opportunity.

(You’ll have to listen to it to find out why we said no πŸ™‚ )

But as fate would have it, I was sort of able to cross that off my bucket list!

X hosted a competition to determine who could make the best Super Bowl commercial for Grok, selecting 3 winners to promote the product.

Well, late Thursday night, I re-watched the Interstellar trailer (greatest trailer of all time) for the 1000th time and got to work.

I made it in about 6 hours and posted it in the morning.

Well, at 6pm PT yesterday, I got a message from xAI team saying that I won third place!

This comes as a great relief because my monthly generation costs are so ludicrously expensive that I might actually be able to afford a single stick of RAM now.

The Kling and Seedance teams seeing me spending all my winnings on credits this year, just so I can promote their products for free.

Speaking of being an unpaid shill, Kling 3.0 came out last week and it actually is insane.:

And we’re about to see the launch of Seedance 2.0, which is hard to believe that this is fully AI:

I’m getting access to it over the next few days and will do a full breakdown soon on how to use it and what this means for advertising and filmmakers.

What a time to be alive!
